Chris & Carol Parker have been in the wine business since 1999 and as sole owners of the business since 2002. Carol & Chris are involved in all facets of the wine production from the vineyard through to sales & marketing.Chris and Carol’s interest in wine producing began some 20 years ago with Chris’s home production of various fruit wines, including boysenberry, kiwi-fruit, banana, blackberry, and believe it or not a tamarillo based wine with Carol judging those efforts.
The three Parker children have all worked in the vineyard.
Euan Parker- Euan received first class honours in Biochemistry and subsequently undertook study in Amber Parker- Amber received first class honours in Molecular genetics and is currently in Duncan Parker- The vineyard provides maximum protection from the The smooth stones and gravels left behind by an ice glacier provide free drainage and heat summation for the vines.
