My Dad Has Purple Hands
My Dad Has Purple Hands is a story covering the steps of winemaking from vineyard to bottle. All seen through the eyes of a little girl who is growing up on a property with a vineyard, a small winery and a Dad who comes home each night with purple hands.
Written by Wayne Dutschke (winemaker & owner, Dutschke Wines) and illustrated by Paul “Pablo” Cassidy (great mate & graphic designer extraordinaire), it is three years in the making after Wayne’s mother-in-law suggested he write a book about a kid whose Dad is a winemaker.
